Boom Parang. . . . . . Sneak Peek!!! . . . Pics & Specs . . .

Very nice, less curve and bit thicker than the traditional parang. As expected, more toward a "dao" but was expecting a pointier tip. Will be in on this one, might have to mod it eventually.

Awesome for sure!
I can see this being better than the 3/16 Ratweiler I have on order by far.
Justifiable purchase? No.
Will I order? Most likely.

Hot Dog, that is awesome.
And at that price I may have to order 2.

What a killer Blade.

Jerry, what is the grind here? Full height flat? High Saber?

Looks like a high saber to me. You can a slight difference in color/light reflection going the length of the blade.

Is there any chance to have an approximate weight listed? I was handling my NMFBM and ASHBM last night and the difference in hand between the two was quite noticeable. This is in the same size range but thinner than the lighter FFG ASHBM.

Well, I thought I was done buying knives.

Apparently, I am not.

Already made up my mind on blk/blk canvas.

So what most of you are saying......................

BOOM is right! :thumbup::cool:

I can see lots of use in the future for this bad boy

I love it. Truly an awesome looking knife that is sure to perform as amazingly as it looks. I hope it is a high saber grind since that will be inherently tougher than a full flat of the same .187 thickness. Even though full flat cuts deeper because of the geometry I think that the width of this blade would have diminished any noticeable difference. It's a perfect design in my humble honest opionion. I am so stoked to get one of these and chop the crap outta everything!!!

Thank you Jerry!

Wow.

Only 1.8" blade width near the tip? Looks much wider than that to me.

Oh man... what to do, what to do?

I like the hole near the end of the blade on this one. Just hang the tool when I'm done.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain I'm going to have to pick up one of these..... and beat the coating off of it.

I am with you there on this one brother. I am torn on my decision. I thinking of getting it for collection purposes...maybe, yet I don't need another chopper. Good price though. If it was INFI I would be all over it. Decisions, Decisions!?!? More than likely I will have to at least get a basic model, can always sell it later. Looks unique enough to at least get my money back on it I am sure. Bad thing is, regardless of blade, I tend to never sell them. I have said that same thing sooooo many times. Too many times lol
