I bought a steelbook version of it. Good movie. There has long been talk of another one being made. I haven't investigated really recently but last i heard things looked entirely like they would be able to move forward and actually get it made.

Me too, Hollywood screws up 99% of sequels....except for X-Men and the second Alien film "Aliens." Oh yeah, Superman Two was good also.

Yeah, that guy was hilarious.
A truly great movie. Loads of fun without any preachy make-you-think nonsense to get in the way of the action.:thumbup:

Overrated personally. It's entertaining, but it got overhyped for me.

I saw it years ago and then recently watched it again. I love it.

But there were a lot of other hipster/gangster kind of movies coming out around the same time, and Boondock Saints isn't the best. I like Snatch a lot better, and I think you could even put Fight Club in that same general category.

Great movie, but I think it needed to be slowed down a bit to fill in some holes in the story.

There's a great bar in the French Quarter (New Orleans) off St. Louis street named the Boondock Saint that has the movie showing in a constant loop. Irish pub themed, cop owned bar; the mounted police show up and you get to feed the horses cherries if you want.:thumbup: The bar chick is hott, too.

Definitely one of my favorite movie!

Love Willem Dafoe in his role, it was the first time I saw him (I think) and was impressed by his acting.
