Greetings all,
I though I'd post a few pics of a boot dagger John White is in the process of making me. He just forwarded pics of the blade. I can;t wait to see the rest.
Thought I'd share as its something a bit different.

Beautiful steel, outstanding grinds and killer stag.
I'd say you and John are off to a very promising start.

Wow! That's a beautiful damascus pattern, and the stag is awesome. Can't wait to see what he has in mind for the guard area...

Bob,

That's a super looking blade!

It's nice the way John emails in progress photos when he is making a knife. It really adds to the knife buying experience.

Bob that is a great looking blade and looks like you have a real winner on the way.

Congratulations, Jon

John is a Master Smith's Master Smith. Look at the symmetry of that pattern!

He does all this and still has time enough to clean up the oil spill out of his front yard. What a man!!

Thanks for the comments guys. Knowing John's attention to detail, the guard should be fantastic.

Paul, guess what...you get to make the sheath:D

Was gonna work on this baby today, and send Bob some more photos, but I went to the dentist instead.....now my mouth hurts, and I'm no further along than I was yesterday.

That blade's 5 inches x 1 1/18 inch. Be shaping guard and collars tomorrow.

John
