D-2 tool steel. I have 54 of these. . . . unground, not heat-treated. I'm interested in selling the entire lot. $13.00 each if bought separately. . . . $11.50 each for the entire lot. They are .150" thick. . . 8 3/4" OAL, 4" blade.

Just got 'em today. . . well, technically I guess it was yesterday, but I'm still working so it isn't officially tomorrow until I go to sleep and then wake up again. . . .hmmmm. . . that could mean that tomorrow might not get here for another 3 days!!!!!

Ubernut, Paul Bos would be the obvious choice for HT'ing D-2, although I can't say for sure that he does HT on that steel. I assume he would. Another choice would be to post in the knifemaker's area and ask if anyone does HT services for D-2 and use one of them...
