I kept the guard small on this knife just in case someone actually wanted to wear it in the top of their boot. The stud will keep the sheath from dropping into the boot and will also fit into the belt loop.

Forged from 5160
Flat grind
Hand sanded to 600 grit
Dyed maple burl handle professionally stabilized by WSSI
Nickle-silver fixtures
Overall length: 9 3/4 inches
Blade: 5 1/4 inches
Hand sewn leather sheath

$250 ----SOLD---- delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com checks with time to clear and USPS money orders also accepted.

Gerry, I like that a lot, very nice job you've done there!!

The one you posted to me last week arrived this morning unfortunatly I was out, so will pick it up Monday. Speak to you then.

I can't believe this hasn't sold. Everything you posted recently has sold in minutes. This one took almost 12 hours. I'll take it.

Gerry: I don't ever remember seeing another sheath combination like that with the stud allowing the sheath to hang on a belt loop. Is this original with you? What a great combination idea! It almost seems a shame to hide that beautiful handle under a trouser leg though!

I stole the sheath idea from someone else.
If you are riding your 70's style chopper into the rough part of town it might be a good idea to leave the knife exposed.

The stud was a style in the 1800's when knives were tucked into belts. It kept the sheath from falling through.

SpearZ, Where you been?
