Boot knives

Lately I've been on a Ron Gaston style boot knife kick. The black one was just finished today in 154cm and I left the
flats as received from Aldo.

Ron likely would have used a tapered tang. Certainly a great guy to fashion your knives after. I have a dagger which I intend to keep for a long time.

on this one he filed the tapered tang and filled with black epoxy. Very kewl.

Looking forward to seeing more work along these line which I'm sure you are enjoying doing.

Thanks Murray, and I agree. I was considering making these in two basic versions.
One as shown and another with a tapered tang and bolsters. Time will tell.
