Hey guys...

I picked up a pair of 6 inch steel toes a few weeks back. Got em broken in... you cant even tell they have steel toes! I tried on all sorts of boots, but these were "it." Plus they were on sale... 80 bucks instead of the normal 170 bucks.

I've got high arches... all the rest I tried on had a "step" that was right in front of my heel, very uncomfortable.

I havent felt the "slip" in oil, or water... but its slick on concrete if ya get the oil and the water in the same puddle. (That last ones normal!)

My only complaint, the laces are extra cheap. They're short, and synthetic all the way. Meant to stay out of the way, but "CHEAP."

The sole is Goodyear welt (USA) the Uppers are Redwing (USA)

I'm going to get a second pair. The BEST I've tried... Definetly better than Danners (Wearing bricks in comparison!)

I give them a 5 out of 5 stars.

Redwing are great!!!! I work construction 12hrs/day and I don't wear any other boots. Never tried the craftsmens but I own 3 pairs of RWs and I swear by them.

These just have "Craftsman" branded on the side...

Redwing tags, Made in the USA... for 80 bucks I couldnt pass em up!
