This was an order, unfortunately the customer lost his job, so its available-

“Bootlegger” Fighter, forged 1095 & Ceylon Ebony.
Long, lean, fast in the hand fighter with a 8.5” forged 1095 blade from 1/4” stock, overall length is 13.5”. Guard/pin are stainless steel, handle material is Ceylon Ebony. Convex edge, sharp clip, differential heat treat with very active and interesting hamon.

Very comfortable and secure in the hand, wants to move when you pick it up!

I love knives that have that serious, purposeful look. The lucky buyer should send that to Paul Long for some sheath magic.

Thats one of the nicest knives I've seen in a long time. Unfortunately I'm in the middle of moving to Japan (where they don't like those things) or I'd pull the trigger. I'll look for more of your stuff when I come back, that's just a very nice job.
 
thanks guys. I didnt realize Japan had tight knife restrictions... with such a history in swords/cutlery you think they would be rather accepting of knives in general... go figure.

I stared at this one a long while, what a fighter Matt! Hope the original buyer finds employment and congrats to the one that got it.
