Boots for a wide foot

In new zealand we have a brand called steel blue. There work boots that fit a wide foot and they guarantee comfort from the day you put them on.
 
At one time or another I've tried them all and always come back to Wolverine. Sure, they don't last as long as other brands and I have to replace them about every 10 months or so but the Extra Wide (EW) fit very well on my duck feet. My $300 pair of Redwings were more like some sort of torture device than a work boot. Danner is about the same. Since being made in China, even their extra wide boots are too narrow.
