Would sure appreciate some suggestions on a good pair of boots.
For the last few years I have been wearing Danners for the Field, and Echos for Every day, since they are great with Business casual.
What I'd like to do is find something that I can swing both ways. (and hopefully as comfortable as the Echos)
Ultimately I am trying to find the best boots to wear daily (in an office environment) but that would serve me well if I decided to take a short notice camping trip, or felt like hitting the woods to go Ginsenging on my way home from work.
Need them to be:
Appropriate for Business casual.
Waterproof
Good tread for Mtn climbing/hiking, but comfortable enough to pound the pavement/office floor.
Warm, but wicking.
Have condidered the following that I recently saw in Field and Stream but would really like to hear your thoughts (and pics) pf your suggestions.
Those currently beng considered:
Filson Uplander
Lowa Tibet GTX
Cabella's Meindl Denali
Thanks as always for your help.
