I just don't see it being feasible at this time. At the current cost of 3D printing would be limited to plastics that probably aren't going to look that nice. One scale is roughly 11 cm^3...I've seen companies that charge $8 per cm^3 + associated fees for metal 3d printing. That makes one scale almost $100 right from the get go before any finish work is done to them.3D printer? Wouldn't be real mahogany, but maybe there's something similar.
