Boredom with knives, lighters and birch

I was sitting watching one of the CSI's on tonight I believe it was NY and I was bored. I had taken a small birch branch home with me to mess around with and decided to do it now. Anyway here is what came of it all. I notched both pieces so they would fit as close together as possible. I used the inner string from the para cord I have laying around to tie it all together. After that I burnt it with one of those BBQ lighters. I did all the cutting and such using the sak shown. enjoy the pic.

Yeah my kids found it and decided it was theirs lol I was going to give it to them anyway. They did that with a spoon I made as well like 5 years ago. They still have that too. Thanks guys.
