Bose/Case Yukon folder

If I get time to be able to make a sheath for this, I'll post a photo of that
I figure it would work best tip up, right now it is riding in a little bag in my
pocket to keep it from getting battered around, but a sheath would solve that.

..that answers my question. - still rockin the two Sebenza sheaths you made twenty years ago. Thanks again!

I have one. It was my first Bose/Case, it's not small, but very useful. Thick blade at the spine but full flat grind makes it a slicer. It's a great knife in the kitchen.

I carry it in the front pocket and generally pull it open, but two nicks is sweet. The ATS34 steel is hard and well tempered. It takes a good edge and holds it. Its sheer size is cool and nobody makes a knife that even compares.

I love my Case/Bose Yukon and it has seen much use. I don’t frequently carry a large folder anymore but when I do that is the one I reach for.
I haven’t seen any pictures of them here so I thought I would post this Cataraugus version, same ATS 34 steel same mill relieved liners and general construction method but with red bone handles and nickel silver bolsters. I think it is a very classy set up. It also came in a cool arrowhead display case.
I know these are bigger than what most people typically carry, myself included, as I usually pocket the diminutive peanut, but sometimes you need or want a big knife.

Just got this in today, very sweet folder, very BIG folder but handles
easily in use. The contours of the handle flow nicely and work well.

Made back in 2001
closed length is about 5 1/4" long
with an ATS-34 blade of 3 7/8" long
putting an open overall length of 9 1/8"

Without further ado;

Very neat knife for sure, Excellent work to Mr Tony Bose and great completion by Case too!

I just received a Yukon Folder and the blade is very dull. Will not cut paper. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thank you, Matt

Not typical I would say but depends on its history of who had it last?
Otherwise you can always get it sharpened right up
