BOSS Set!

Oeser, Do you have any imformation on the thichness differences between the SHBM's you've got listed and the BWMLE's. Thanks,

I don't man, if any old HOG would sell me one, I could tell you.

I want to say .25" or maybe a little more. Not sure.

Cool, can't wait to get the BWBMLE then i can compare it to the SHBM i got from Will. I'd love to have one of those 1 of 300 though. But the bwmle looks pretty close. Thanks bro,

The SHBM came in a range of thicknesses, but AFAIK, they were never as thin as 0.22", like the BWM LE.

We would need an SHBM expert, like Cobalt or Lil' Foo or papathud to confirm.

Well if Jerry brings out a thinner Boss Street that would be great .... aside from the SYKCO S5LE in Infi I have'nt found another small bladed knife in Infi which really appeals to me as a "work" knife .... the SYKCO SS4 is another good one .... but the Boss Street is a little on the thick side making it a bit handle heavy although I am all for a good sized handle to enable you to work with wood in comfort. A BAIII in 3/16 or ABA in 1/8 with nice smooth fat grips would be a welcome offering .... for me at least ....

But my RMD's and the S5LE are fine for now ..... 4 to 5 inch blades just give me that bit better control of the point and the belly curve .... I have some really sharp 6 inch blades and they feel just a little too remote when working with the point ....

Jerry's warranty seems to lend perhaps more emphasis towards thicker stock on small blades .... and many of the others seem more of a hunting/skinning profile .... a little small on the handle for my hands .... and one or two too small on the blade length for making the most of a cutting edge when carving on wood .... the BAIII though seems to be ideal

I have a Basic 5 coming soon though and suspect that that one will give me my "Busse" as opposed to "Bussekin" small knife ....it is .25 thick but the ASM edge is brilliant when working on wood and can be taken a little bit sharper than I can manage to do on a convex edge .... although if I worked at them both long enough they would probably equal out .... but the ASM edge is a lot quicker and easier to sharpen ....

Were there ever any ASM edged old school Badger Attacks ?
