I remember doing a split image once before to align the choil starts and the talon holes, but I can't remember for the life of me why I did it
I think it was a discussion about the differences in grip and blade length...

I just photochopped someone elses pic, I wish I had handled the hg55 and ratmandu. If you just glued the hg55 blade post-choil onto the handle like that, (so it was no choil and an inch shorter) it would be an awesome blade.

Ok finally got to PC.

to Answer why photographed like that, there are three reasons. First I was interested in the blade the most second, I wanted to note the overall size difference, which is easier for me to do if they are aligned at the tip. The third is I figured that since the BATAC is wider and larger it will overshadow the smaller blade therefore distorting the proportions a little bit. and if I wanted to see a bigger knife I would ask for alignment at the talon holes though.

But as it stands, the most important reason is that I just wanted to see them that way.
