Boss vs Vex?

I definitely like your photochopped version better, Mike, but talon holes and choils are something I don't expect to go away any time soon. It's a Busse trademark (literally).

I do dig the BOSS Street - it's a gorgeous knife and feels pretty great in hand. If a thin version, or a bama clay version, are ever offered, I will probably snag one. I like the looks of the DC version, but I have to decide whether I'm going to keep it before I use it, and I hate owning an unused knife.

But the Vex is just my ideal compact EDC.

Recurve?

The Vex has no recurve as I understand the term. One can see from MM's pic that the blade lengths are close, but the BS has a longer handle, and is much stouter of course.

resinguy, you are correct, i guess i was thinking about another knife, the boss street does look a little slimmer than the vex, but they are both very close and now i will have both.

a year + into the busse knives, i have just gotten my first three bussekin knives and really enjoy them!

thanks for the correction, resinguy, i value your input!!

Were you maybe thinking of the High Street, stricknine? It was released at the same time as the Vex (Blade Atlanta) and has a very slight recurve. Mine became even more slight when I gave it a good convex edge.
