I like the idea of them, but not so much using them. They get it done, dont get me wrong, but other things are so much more versatile.

I used one for years while deer hunting. You wouldn't hear water sloshing around while you walk. I use the bladder hydration system now in the day pack. Carry more water.

I carried one for a while when I was living in Europe, I never had a lot luck with it though. Mine started to impart a bad taste to the water and I never managed to get that corrected. I think the others are right, there are better options...
