Another nail in the coffin of Botach.
Well I have read all the posts about them and decided I would try them out anyway as they had a sale on something I wanted.
Sent my info, CC # etc... , on their cart page. Pressed submit, page stated order was confirmed, but no tracking number appeared nor a confirmation e-mail. It was after hours so no online help.
Over the next four days I sent two e-mails asking about my order and what had happened to my CC info. No response.
Called customer service, and got a woman who could not even speak english properly.
She advised they had my information and had e-mailed me back......... WRONG.......... I checked every day.
She told me as I was ordering outside of the U.S. I needed to fax a copy of my id or passport, plus the front and back of my CC and write a quick note saying I am authorizing them to charge my CC.
Not fu..ing likely I am giving all of that over a fax machine.
I have ordered from at least 6 internet companies and nobody has caused this much hassle for out of State orders.
I heard the following saying the other day and it strikes true for Botach.
"they couldn't organize a hog fu.k at a pig farm"
