Well, I did not listen to the ugly posts about Botach. The idea of a great price got the best of me. Listen to this.
a) On 5/24 I order a Green Handled Commander with Satin blade. I was told it was in stock. $125.00 is an unbelieveable price!
b) Botach was closed for the Memeorial Day weekend, including Tuesday 5/29.
c) On 5/30 I was told, by "Chuck" that it had shipped on 5/25. However they could not give me the UPS tracking number because that "fellow" was not in yet. An hour later, I called again, and was told, still no number.
d) Later on 5/30, I called again. Another fellow told me it had not shipped yet. I got "Chuck" back on the line and he clarified and said it had been shipped on 5/25.
e) I was getting upset so I called BK, Botach's owner. He told me to speak to "Jeffery" in customer service. "Jeffery" told me that by the end of the day, I would have the UPS tracking number emailed to me. He also told me the item had shipped 5/25.
f) Last evening I got the UPS tracking number in an email. I called UPS and was told that the tracking number shows the item has not yet left the shipper!
g) I called UPS again, this morning (5/31) and am still told that shipment has not yet been picked up from the shipper - STILL!
Well, I am getting really mad now. I will keep you up to date. I believe I will get my knife, but so far I have not gotten one trustworthy, straight answer by anyone from Botach. PLUS, MY CREDIT CARD HAS ALREADY BEEN CHARGE. If I don't get my knife, I simply won't pay.
