I have for sale two GECs. BOTH SOLD

The first is a GEC Beer Scout Knife with beer barrel oak covers.
The knife is in excellent condition and has been carried very minimally. I have sharpened the blade. It is very sharp and mirror-finished, but there is some unevenness in the edge bevel; especially at the tip, where it broadens on one side more than the other. There is no patina on either the blade or crown lifter. There are some very fine hairline scratches on the blade that are barely visible, and there are some rub marks on the crown lifter. Both the blade and tool are well centered; the pull on the blade is a 5/6 and crown lifter is about a 7; both backsprings are incredibly close to flush in open and closed positions; the walk & talk is just a little lazy on the main blade (still pretty good though) but snappy on the crown lifter.
The knife will come with all original materials (tube, pin, wax paper) in addition to a red CollectorKnives.net pocket slip.

The price is $110==>$100 SOLD shipped CONUS

The second is a GEC Tom's Choice Barlow with chestnut peach seed jigged bone covers.
The knife is also in excellent condition and has been carried very minimally. I have also sharpened this knife. It is very sharp and mirror-finished. The edge on this one is consistent except at the tip where it broadens slightly more on one side than the other. There is no patina on the knife, but there is a very faint mark on the back of the bolster from a light rust spot that I cleaned with Flitz. Again, there are some very fine hairline scratches on the blade which are difficult to see and even harder to photograph. The blade is exceedingly well centered; the pull is about a 7; the backspring is flush in the open and closed positions; the walk & talk is nice and snappy.
The knife will come with all original materials (tube, pin, wax paper) in addition to a brown CollectorKnives.net pocket slip.

The price is SOLD $125 SOLD shipped CONUS

Thank you,
- Daniel
