I can understand your trepidation. We moved out into the country a couple of years ago and lost our Cox email address, as they didn't service the area. I created a Protonmail account because they looked to be better about privacy than Google. I do have my Gmail account that I could give you, my Facebook messenger, or even just my phone number to text, if any of those would work for you.
