Happy New Year everyone. Have a couple great knives.. tough choices need to be made to keep the in and out flow going for 2019.
John Lloyd. I have owned and own many of John's knives and I can honestly say this one has the best fit and finish of any I have held in hand. Why would I sell it then? Well its similar in size and materials to my Gaucho that I have owned longer and am fond of. I like to keep a variety so there it is. Old micarta, 52100 carbon steel, 4 1/4 closed. Amazing snap, pinchable, flush in all 3 positions, seamlessly smooth transitions from micarta to bolsters.. best I have ever felt, centered and zero blade play. It feels smaller in the pocket then it is due to a nice slim design. Offering this knife to your door for $325.00.
77 NF Yankee Barlow. This is from one of the original runs with the slimmer lower profile clip point blade. Old Tan sawcut handles. Centered, no play, strong snap, I can pinch it open. I am the second owner, it came to me used but not abused. Slight patina on the blade, typcial wear marks on bolsters and back springs, small pepper spot on back liner. Please see picture of small chip near one of the pins. Overall great condition, incredible and rare knife. Would make an excellent user. Asking $200 to your door.
These may be cross posted so I will go by timestamp. Thank you!
