These two beauties are pretty hard to find, unless by paying an exorbitant price to a scalper on eBay. Don't do that. Do this.

SOLD Spyderco Caly 3.5 Superblue SOLD

I bought this as new old stock on eBay....OK, maybe I overpaid a little, but not too much, and the eBay seller was absolutely legit. This Caly 3.5 Superblue is a rare bird indeed and is my favorite old-school Spyderco, from back when the Japanese Seki factory's quality control was first-rate. This Caly 3.5 features the Aogami Superblue steel, from the iron sands that were used to forge samurai swords for centuries.

I carefully sharpened this Caly 3.5 once, on a Worksharp Precision Adjust. I stopped at 600 grit and then stropped it, since this high carbon steel seems to excel with a non-polished edge. I've also kept the blade treated with EDCi formula, and the blade is clean and free from patina/corrosion or any other marks/scratches. Scales and everything else are clean and like-new.

This Caly 3.5 has a rock-solid back lock and smooth deployment, but similar to the Sebenza, it's not a fidget-oriented knife (not there's anything wrong with that....haha!). On the other hand, and also similar to the Sebenze, I really like to feel the smooth, glassy thumb-roll when opening and the reassuring snap of the lock, so I guess it depends on your perspective.

I'm asking
SOLD $275 (PayPal F&F) for the Spyderco Caly 3.5 Superblue, less that what I paid and also considering that I sharpened it. Comes with original box and "Edge-u-cation" insert from 2011. Minor issue, but full disclosure, for any knife nerds out there like me.....the knife didn't come wrapped in the Aogami superblue paper with Japanese script when I bought it. The other two Caly 3.5 Superblues had this, but the seller told me he misplaced it and couldn't find it.

SOLD Chris Reeve Sebenza 31 Magnacut Tanto / Ripp's Garage Tech Timascus Clip SOLD

I'm the second owner of this amazing knife, having bought it in like-new condition on Reddit Knife Swap from a trusted seller several months ago. I've carried it, used it very lightly (opened a few packages, etc), and stropped it, but not sharpened. Only signs of wear are a few of the usual light snail trails on the bead-blasted plain titanium scales (non-clip side).

Before this knife, I didn't have any timascus on any knives I owned and didn't really think I wanted it (I just wanted a large Sebenza with Magnacut). So, the same day I bought it, I also bought a replacement bronze-anodized, deep carry clip from MXG Gear. However, when the Sebenza was delivered, I changed my mind on timascus, at least as far this Sebenza is concerned. This clip is fantastic! It looks great....just the right amount of flash (for me, at least), juxtaposed with the otherwise no-nonsense PJ titanium scales. It also is excellent functionally. Very nice.

What else? This a double lug Sebenza with bronze/gold accents, including an aftermarket anodized bronze lanyard plug, I think also from RGT, but I'm not sure. The original Sebenza clip, never used MXG clip, bronze-anodized lanyard hole fitting, and lanyard (untied) are also included, along with all the usual Sebenza goodies in the box, as shown in photos.

I'm asking
SOLD $525 (PayPal F&F) for the Large Sebenza 31 Magnacut Tanto with all the extras mentioned. I think this is a fair price.......if you can find a Large Sebenza Magnacut new (good luck with that!}, it'll cost $450, and the RGT Timascus clip is $135, but they are sold out on RGT's website. I'll ship by USPS Priority (insured) from St. Louis.
