BOTH SOLD Got two folders for sale here that won't win any beauty contests, but are two of the most ergonomic, great cutting, no-BS, awesome everyday use knives around, in my opinion. Lately, I succumbed to the gravitational pull of trying out two new steels that have gotten a lot of buzz, so I ended up with new steel versions of each of these fantastic knives.....15V blade swap for the Manix 2 and new Magnacut Native Salt.

SOLD Manix 2 M390

I picked up a 15V Manix 2 here on BF last week and swapped the blade with my M390 Manix 2, which I've had on blue Teratuf scales that I liked a lot. For anyone who's disassembled a Manix 2....yeah, not a lot of fun....but I managed to pull off the blade swap without too much profanity or without sending ball lock bearings or springs into low earth orbit. As a result of the swap, the blade on this M390 Manix 2 is well centered, lockup is solid with no blade play, and action is very smooth. Actually, the swap favored the aforementioned QC factors on this M390 over the 15V that went on the Teratuf scales, which is just a little off center. Oh well....

I've sharpened this M390 blade once with a Worksharp Precision Adjust Pro guided system and have kept it stropped and sharp. Blade is clean, with exception of some micro-scratches coming off the bevel on each side, which must have been from using a new coarse grit 220 diamond plate for the first time. There are a few light scrapes and scuffs on the light brown G10 scales, but overall the knife is in great condition. No box with this one....knife only.

Asking SOLD $120 for the Manix 2, but I'd prefer to sell with the Native Salt below as a two-fer package to a single shipping address for $160. PayPal F&F or Venmo payment, with shipping by USPS Priority from St. Louis.

SOLD Native Salt LC200N

This Native Salt has been my most carried and used knife, as it THE one that I used for frequent fieldwork in my job as a environmental geologist. It has always performed well and held up beautifully for me in all kind of conditions. Check out the photo from four years ago, when I was using this Native Salt to open the vents on jerrycans of sodium permanganate, a VERY strong oxidizer that would have just eaten up just about another type of steel. The LC200N blade on this Native Salt just shrugged it off without so much as a blemish. I'm hoping my new Magnacut Native Salt lives up to the very high standards set by this previous version with LC200N steel. So far, so good....

I've sharpened this Native Salt several times over the last 4 + years, and it has always taken and kept a great cutting edge. As seen on photos, the blade is not exactly pristine......this has been a seriously used knife. However, it remains as solid as ever, with great lockup and surprisingly good (for a backlock) Spydieflick opening. I replaced the standard Spyderco spoon clip with an MXG titanium deep carry clip. No box with this one....knife only.

Asking SOLD $65 for the Native Salt user, but I'd prefer to sell with the Manix 2 above as a two-fer package to a single shipping address for $160. PayPal F&F or Venmo payment, with shipping by USPS Priority from St. Louis.
