I've got here two of my hand crafted boning knives. These have blades from the Russell Green River plant ( Dexter Knife Co. ) in Mass.
These RGR's are the same old patterns from the late 19th century.
They are 1/8" thick factory forged 1095 carbon. Flat ground thin, they get wicked sharp & hold an edge pretty good.
Hands down IMO , one of the best one's of the RGR line that I do. You can use these for a variety of tasks, they will serve you well. Just no dish washwashing machines please. Just clean & dry. Best bet is to let the carbon patina up,as this adds to the knife's ability to resist corrosion.
OAL is 10.5" with 6" of edge The knives have three 1/8" nickel pins that I peen before finishing out. I put a slack belt finish on the entire blade spine .
Includes RH dyed & tooled leather belt sheath, vertical carry.
Prices include shipping in the States via USPS Priority.
Either knife $110. Paypal fee included
U.S. Postal M.O. price $100. ea.
Book matched, full figured Bocote wood >>This one's Sold thanks
