I've not cut anything with the BRKT and only paper with the Duty, the edges are in good shape and just as I got them. The BRKT appears unused but I did add a paracord wrap to the sheath and a lanyard. The G.E.Chen was bought new ... carried for two weeks ... made 4 or 5 cuts in paper, nothing else.
BRKT Magnum Fox River in A2, SOLD toxic green handles. Leather sheath. I added 15- 20 feet of paracord wrap around sheath and a natural jute lanyard for tinder. Includes a 1/2x5" bare ferro rod (no holder ... drop it in you pocket or pack).

Semi-custom full tang fixed blade knife with full tang CPM-3V blade and micarta handle. The 3V version is slightly larger than the first production versions that were in S35VN and this particular model has a more pronounced choil in front of the guard. Composed of a full tang of CPM-3V, the flat ground blade has been vacuum heat treated, oil quenched and tempered to provide and help maintain a razor sharp edge. Black micarta handles have been contoured for comfort before being attached to the tang with cap screws. The tang has been skeletonized to remove weight and a L "Lightened" has been stamped on the blade to note this. The removed section has been turned into a dogtag with laser etched specifications and production date. Each of the Chen Duty knives have been serialized out of 500 and etched into the back of the spine. Includes a heavy duty Tek-Lok compatible Kydex sheath with attached belt carry loop. A quick web search will get you some more info on these knives as well as some better stock pics. This is the Duty 2, the original Duty was in S35VN and came with a leather sheath. This is a great handling knife, just a bit too big for me to EDC. $150.00 (I can throw in a large Tek-Lok for $7)
