I went to the Northern California chop off over the weekend. Lots of big knives and swords chopping everything in sight. During the water bottle cutting part I thought to use my Chinook III to try and cut some bottles. I made it cleanly through 3 bottles and almost made it through the forth. Ban tried it and he got almost the same results. Pretty cool for a little 4" knife.

Do you know how hot it was this weekend? I could have used those water bottles!

Pretty sweet, though

They were pretty surprised. Truth be told I thought I would get one, but didn't really think I had a chance to get all 4

I am not surprised. I cut an empty watter bottle in half by tossing it up in the air and cutting with an pumpkin handled black coated SS the other day (with the factory edge, only stropped for while). I really did not expect it to slice all the way through like it did with no weight in the bottle for resistance. I figured it would probably make it through a few bottles filled with water.
