I don't THINK anyone has posted this yet. ThinkGeek is one of my favorite places to 'window shop,' so to speak. They have several useful items, usually solar chargers and such, that you folks might like. I thought this idea was kind of cool; a plastic water bottle with a solar panel on the top that holds 10 hours worth of power for the LED light under the cap. Nifty, huh?

I'll take a light stick and throw it in the water bottle for fun effect some time3s

I've read good things about the solar light bottle. It is a decent lantern for your tent, to mark an area, etc. I have heard if it is not full of water it can be top heavy as a result of the solar panel and electronics.

My son has had it for awhile now and loves it. Still going strong and looks even cooler when lit with a colored sports drink inside. Downside: even empty it is considerably heavier that a similar bottle without the gadget.

I was gifted the big heavy LED lid that will fit over nalgene bottles. Even has a brightness adjustment! Quality piece, but just too heavy to be worthwhile, as the light it puts out is mediocre.
