Bottom K Hiker's Backup LE Picture Thread!

Got mine at 11pm last night. Crazy USPS delivery yesterday. Anyway, more pics, less talk... :D

A couple with my Tin Knife, that was in the same box.

Pretty sweet little knife! I like that even though it's a smaller knife, comparatively speaking, it has a large handle, which is great for my big hands, even though it's only a 3-finger grip. I can tell I'm going to like this little guy!!! Thanks John!

Thanks! The blue/white was an afterthought, and I agree, it looks fantastic!

Nice pictures! I like the liners - I might have asked for red liners if I had thought about it more, but I wanted mine to be a replica of the original; and of course I go out and just use it lol -

Thanks for the pictures - they really pop!

I don't know this company yet. I was very surprised that there's a company I've never heard of on this board. However looking at these pictures, I believe this knife is just about perfect. I do a lot of backpacking. I will look into the vendor

I'm also a Mineral Oil fan for food safe knife usage, so soak all knives I get first thing.

Love the red liners, red mosaic pin and spine jimping. Really cool little knife, but slip sheath keeps getting lost in pocket. May commission a leather one with clip.....

Cool, Noah -

What does the micarta look like after the oil is wiped down? I like the darker look -

Great pics Scott and Noah!!!  +1 on the mineral oil! I haven't done that with mine just yet, but I plan to.

I'd like my Kydex sheath a bit tighter too. I will hit mine with a heat gun around the neck to do so.

Thanks Noah -

That treatment is just right -

I have been using my version, and as nice looking as it is, it's a "railroad spike" that you can do almost anything with - JK makes TOUGH KNIVES.

Enjoying killing cutting tasks with my BKHB~
