Bought a 110 today.

Ebony one. It's kinda stiff to open. Put some oil in the joint, still kinda stiff.

On a new 110, I oil the pivot point real heavy with sewing machine oil, wrap the blade in a heavy cloth and work it for as long as it takes to loosen it up some.
I like getting my 110's to the point I can open and close them one handed.
Takes a bit of practice but works for me.
yeah,,,wash all the oil off before playing with it one handed...
