After researching the myriad "Sebenza vs. Alias" factors out there, I decided to just buy both. Mind you...this was hard because I have never spent that kind of dough on a knife.
I bought the Sebenza from peasandcornco.com (awesome experience) and the Alias from Not Your Mama's (not such a good experience). But in fairness, NYM was good about accepting the return and owning up to a mistake. I'd probably buy from them again.
The Sebenza I purchased was a Large micarta inlay, and although I thought I had bought a model 21, what arrived in my mailbox turned out to be a Classic MM dated December 2007. Score!
Quick summary: the Alias is a nice knife, but it's no Sebenza.
