Jungle boots that I'm trying to break in before leaving on the 22nd. I like these boots a lot! I told Mike to get a pair. That ragged-ass pair of jungle boots he keeps wearing to Peru is embarrassing!

I normally wear a 10 but always buy 1/2 size larger when buying online. So, this 10 1/2 fits perfect. But 1/2 size larger than your shoe you're wearing now.

I actually bought these to kick the holy Sh*t out of all those that break the rules! :D:D

No but I thought about you maybe needing them more than me

is this the new super seal boots? i saw us cav review of it ... looked intersting ... and airy which i would like it.... i got bad foot problems if they get wet and hot for long periods....

These boots look and sound the part. Too many cheap jungle boots on the market, but these look truly legit. Remember the film Falling Down? "Now THESE are Vietnam jungle boots. Cost you half as much, last you twice as long, and are great for stomping". "Course when you're done you have to clean out the waffle with a stick, but what the hell, you can't have everything, right? Am I right or wrong?".

Those do look like nice boots. Will they provide enough ventilation so your feet don't feel too hot in the jungle?

When I was there we didn't own any quality shoes, usually went barefoot or wore whatever was available cheap down there, so feet would get really hot and uncomfortable. When playing among all the downed trees near the chacras (slash-and-burn-gardens) it was easier to walk on the tree trunks barefoot than wearing shoes, but I had decent callouses then. And of course some of those sticker trees would do a number on you even when wearing shoes.

If I were to return to that environment, these boots do look like they would do well!
