'Bout time for another Busse-1911 thread

Most of my Busse knives have been seen time and time again, but this baby just got back from the smith. Melonite on the upper and brushed hard chrome lower, Heinie magwell, recessed the slide stop, beveling here and there, some pin striping on the flattened top and ball cuts on the front end of the slide. He polished the barrel up too. This thing was smooth before, now it is like glass. I can't wait to get it to the range!

I am too unfortunate to have any 1911's (some time in the future I guess). The closest is an old AMT AutoMag .30 carbine I got as a kid (looks sorta 1911 ish)

They are a hoot. Not a great self defense gun, but sure do get grins when you pull one out and blast a clip. It used to be the loudest pistol I had, till I picked up a 7 1/2" barreled AR-pistol.
It is probably my most accurate auto, besides my MarkI ruger. My wife sure loves shooting it.
I have a .30 carbine M-1 carbine as well. So it is a fun combo.
