• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Me and my three year old girl took our knives out today and made this bad boy. Learned how to carve a good notch. And some good knife safety. She's pretty amazing. Worked well for about fifteen minutes til we got a little over-agressive. She picked the pink thread. ;)

Knives used...old buck (her), sodbuster (me).

Nice! A Great way for building memories, and teaching tool use. I have done as much with my kids as I can and I hope they carry those good memories into adulthood. They grow up so fast, I remember when my older son was 3, now he's a senior in high school and an Eagle Scout, where did that time go?

Thanks! We have a newborn and the difference in 3 years is ASTOUNDING. I thought I put pics of the knives in. Oh well, I guess you guys know what a sodbuster looks like. (I'm tired)

Sounds great Dan. My little girl doesn't get to use knives yet, her Mom would freak out.

My wife isn't exactly stoked, but Francine is very careful and listens. If she wasn't she wouldn't have any knives. The other day I went for a MC ride and she yelled, 'WAIT!'. She wanted to loan me the little old buck I gave her for the ride. ;)
