Ok I went out with Rescue Riley and Kuruptd today to prove I can get a coal with out a knee pad for you jackasses:grumpy:

GS, don't ever let anybody else talk you out of working 'smart'. I've worked at my job for 41 years, a lot of it on my knees (note to tf, don't take advantage here - AW/RB/Chris said that he never saw me post anything mean spirited - I'd hate to disappoint him 
). I've only used knee pads for the last few - a case of 'too soon old, too late smart'
Out in the woods, the ground can be softer, so no problem, but in your back yard on, what looks like concrete, knee pads are definitely advised.
However, you might want to invest in one of these.

I only made fun of your knee pad because I wasn't bright enough to come up with the idea myself. I may be using one from now on, though.
