Bowie— Old School

I forged this piece from W1 round. The blade shape is based on Moran’s and Maryland smiths’ style.

9.5”x1.9x.300”. 14.5” OAL. Fast taper.

Vintage paper micarta. Heavily contoured. Threaded through tang construction.

Radiused and mirror finished 416ss guard. Deeply fullered and polished 416ss ferrule.

Wickett and Craig bridle leather sheath.

$400 plus shipping.

I remember that knife. Probably from 2003. Similar to this. View media item 5529. I think yours is in micarta with a double bronze guard. I’m happy to know you still enjoy the knife.
