Bowie/Fighter for sale. She is razor sharp and balances out very politely in the hand.
Steel- 5160 X 1/4
AOL- 12 inches
Blade- 6 3/4 inches to guard
Grind- Flat with drawn swedge
Guard- soldered brass
Handle 4 1/2 inches to guard
Wood- Stabilized Black Ash Burl from Larry Shaughnessy, pinned with 1/8 brass rod.
Sheath- RH leather sheath was hand sewn by me.

Wow. That's unreal!!! How far does the tang dive into the handle?

It extends about 1 1/2 inches past the pin in the handle, or to about 1/2 inch from the end. The tang was burned in , epoxied with Brownells Acra Glass, and pinned with a 1/8 pin. The tang is 5/8 inch wide at the ricasso and narrows down to 7/16 inch at the end. Both the back of the ricasso and tang were tempered back for durability. Hope this helped.
