Gorgeous knife! Pretty much what Im looking for. W2 is an excellent choice. One question though. How does the squared off section of the handle feel in the hand?

The knife is sitting in my hand perfectly. Everything is shaped so that it does not push in your hand. I do not want to praise my work(that must do customers), but I have been doing this shape for several years, and no one writte that knife is bad in hand.

Very elegant. There is nothing unnecessary on this knife. I love the way you handled the plunge and heel too.

I have one of Milan's big fighting Bowies. To answer akadave2's question, the handle is very comfortable and secure. Pretty much everything about this knife is first rate. It's tempting to buy a second one, but that would put a dent in my budget.

If I had to fight Jim Bowie, I'd rather have this knife than whatever he had. It's a great knife, but I think the photos show that.

BTW the legendary Nick Wheeler has been known to craft handles similarly. It is great for solid no slip gripping. I see a lot of Mr. Wheeler's influence in Milan's knives
which to my mind is a really fine thing. Milan is the real deal!
