Bowie for Gouge finally finished (pic's)

Bruce, ive got a whole box full of old electric motors, but i dont need no bowie :D

All kidding aside, very nice work we need to get together and pound some steel.
 
My sweet wife suprised me Sat morning with my package from Bruce.My lazy mailman never brings packages out of the truck.He just sneaks the notice slip into the box and struts away.Deb had gone to the P.O and picked it up for me.

All I can say is WOW!! This is an absolutely georgious piece of damascus. The fit and finish is perfect and is hair poppin sharp.It really surprised me as to how light and fast it feels in the hand and the coke bottle shape gives a very secure feeling.

Bruce talked with me over the phone about the knife and said to use it,as this is the blade used for the cutting competition in the Aug Blade.But as pretty as it is now I would be hard pressed to do anything but just look at it and drool.

Many thanks Bruce,I would hope that many folks would get the chance to actually hold on of Bruces knives to really get the experience

You are a lucky man Mark. Someday I hope to have one of Bruces Knives. There are so many great knifemakers here but the style Bruce makes, is perfect for my taste.
