Greetings gang,
Here are a few for your consideration - bowies, hunters and a couple folders - something for everyone.
Brion Tomberlin JS - Recurve Bowie.
Brion is a very talented smith who will be testing for Master Smith next year. In my opinion, this is one of his finest pieces to date. This knife features a recurved blade of 1065 at just over 10" in length. Overall length is approx. 15". Stainless double-guard with copper spacer. Exceptional "marblecake" presentation ironwood handle. Rowe sheath. US$795 Now US$745. TOMBERLIN IS NOW SOLD
John Perry MS - Liner-lock folder.
As well known for his stunning reproductions of historical boweis as for his fine folders. I came across no less than half a dozen top makers at the last Blade Show that had a John Perry folder in their pocket - or a couple in their personal collection. I picked this one up with every intention of using it, but just couldn't bring myself to scratch it up. Specs on this piece are as follows: 2 3/4 blade of hand-rubbed 440V . 3 3/4 over all length. Mosaic damascus bolster, damascus thumb stud with Ti spacer. Jigged bone scales. Titanium liners and screws. US$425, US$395 Now US$360
Jim Walker, MS - Damascus Hunter
This is a piece I took in partial trade a while back and just never really fell in love with. I'd rather see it go to an appreciative owner and so I'm letting it go at a price point where the buyer could wel consider putting it to use. Specs are as follows: 4 1/2" damascus blade in classic ladder pattern, nickel silver single guard. Ebony handle. No sheath. At US$395 Now US $OLD for a MS damascus piece, you'll easily be carrying one of the better knives AND better values into the field.
Bud Weston - Liner Lock folder.
I was fortunate enough to be drawn for this piece at the last CKG show and am grateful to that organization, and to the talented maker for creating the opportunity. Pocket clips aren't my thing, however. Specs are as follows:blade is CPM S30V,Bolsters,spacer and liners are titanium, handle scales are cocobolo. The dimensions are 3 1/2" blade, 7" OAL (open). The bolsters and back spacer have a really attractive silvery (perhaps bead blasted) finish. Price is US$OLD!
First "I'll take it." by e-mail on any piece gets it.
All knives are in as-new / as received from maker / uncarried / unused condition. All prices include shipping (within the US and Canda - elsewhere at cost) and Paypal (preferred). Payment via US International Postal Order (the pink ones) is also acceptable
Thanks for your time guys 'n gals.
Roger
