Up for sale is my first forged knife. I forged it from an old file, I can't remember what kind, but I do remember it was USA made. It's about 3/16" thick at the spine, 14 3/4" overall and 9" along the cutting edge. It's oil quenched and double tempered. I used 3/16" brass for the guard and buttcap, and a piece of stabilized deer antler for the handle, with red spacers between the guard and handle/and buttcap, and there's a 1/8" brass pin and epoxy holding everything together. I did a mustard finish on this knife, and I think it turned out pretty cool, it gives the knife a rustic finish. Knife comes with a nice brown leather sheathsold to JoeBonny
Next is a utility style blade, hollow ground from 1/8" 440 C stainless, with a machine finish. It's 7 3/8" overall, and 3 3/4" along the cutting edge The handles are dyed camel bone secured by three 3/16" stainless corby bolts and a 1/4" stainless lanyard tube. this knife comes with a nice 8-9oz leather pouch style sheath.
Up for sale is a utility style knife I just finished. It's hollow ground from 1/8" 440c stainless, with a scotchbrite finish on the bevels and a hand finish on the flats. The handles are stabilized curly koa from Mark at Burlsource, and are secured by two 1/4" stainless handle bolts. The handles look much better in the sun, but it was going down when I took the pictures. The knife is 7 1/2" overall, and is 3 3/8" along the cutting edge. Knife comes with a 8-9 oz leather pouch style sheath
I'm adding a repost of a stag hunter. I reshaped the handle and guard, and I'm much more satisfied with it now. It's 10" overall, and 4 1/4" along the cutting edge. It's hollow ground from 1/8" D2 steel, with a hand sanded finish. The handle is stag with stabilized green box elder burl and blue spacers. The knife comes with a leather pouch style sheath.sold to ghale
Any of these are $75 shipped! I take paypal at coolhandluke4@juno.com, or postal money orders.
