Hi Everyone,
Here is a Hammer Forged Bowie I just completed. The specs are as follows:
8 1/4" 1075 forged blade, 1/4" at gard tapering toward tip, just over 1 1/2" at widest point, hand sanded to 2500 grit and pulled out with 400 grit strokes.
Guard, Ferrule, and Pin of Nickel Silver. Hand checkered spacers are also Nickel Silver. The pin is hammer peened and polished.
Handle is Royal Black Walnut...also polished to 2500 grit, finished with Danish and Tung oils.
Comes with hand stitched sheath by my father-in-law Paul Wittle
