US Historical Society Commemorative Blued Steel Bowie Knife w/ Double Case - $300

This commemorative Jim Bowie Knife was issued by the United States Historical Society in the 80s and only 500 were made. This is number #199. The knife commemorates the Vidalia, Mississippi sandbar knife fight which established the Bowie legend 180+ years ago.

The knife is 14" long and was made by the finest knife makers in Solingen, West Germany. The tempered, beautifully blued steel blade is deeply etched of portraits of the heroes James and Rezin Bowie. Rezin actually designed the first Bowie knife that he lent his brother Jim for a night fight on the sandbar.

The embellishing on the blade is 24-karat gold. German silver fittings enhance hand-rubbed rosewood handle. The knife comes in a cherry wood case with a red velvet lining, gold hinges and lock. That case comes in a blue protector case with embossed seal. Includes certificate of authenticity. A stunning piece!

BlackJack Shining Mountains / Edge Design Bowie - $300 SOLD

This knife was designed by Mike Stewart and Ken Warner and produced by Blackjack Knives when they were in their Effingham, IL facility. They shared production rights on this knife with a St. Louis based knife company called Edge Design Inc. They were made in the mid 90s, right before Blackjack closed their doors in Effingham. They are of exceptional quality and are quite rare. Comes in original cardboard sleeve but no sheath.

The knife is a huge presence at 16" inches complete and almost an 11" blade. The blade is 52-100 High Carbon Steel and has incredible shine with factory edge. The handle is hand carved.

Ken Largin KELGIN CUTLERY Custom Benchmade Bowie Knife - $300 SOLD

For your consideration is a rare custom benchmade Bowie knife by the legendary, now retired Ken Largin of Kelgin Cutlery. There are not a lot of these on the market from my research. The knife is a total of 12" and the blade is 9". This knife has been stored in climate controlled storage for over 30 years.

This is a unique piece in incredible shape for it's age. The knife does have some beauty marks that I believe to be in the smithing process, as the blade and knife overall don't appear to show use. Comes in vintage Bagmaster padded bag.
