I needed a knife for a camping trip on which we planned quite a bit of hiking and designed a new style. It worked so well I decided to make more. Here is a bowie style in a lightweight hunter perfect for hiking, camping and edc.

The steel is 1/8 A2 hand rubbed to 600 grit, about 60 rc. Handle is hidden tang construction, black walnut burl with a Teak Oil finish. Red fiber spacers and antique gun blue finish on iron guard and cap. Guard pattern is carried over to the cap.

This is very light weight and hangs low on the belt, out of the way when walking. Hand tooled sheath.

overall length 10 3/4" , blade 6 1/4" in front of guard. Width 1 1/2".

Price sold but I have a very similar knife listed $165.00 sheath and shipping in US included.

Thanks for looking, and thanks shadow for the kind comments.

That is one beauty of a knife. And a steal at $165 worth a lot more.

Great work:thumbup:

Thanks for the feedback, just a note the machine I used to sharpen my knives broke a couple of weeks ago and I was looking to upgrade but could not find one that I liked. I had such a hard time with your knife (A2 tool steel) using other machines I went a bought the HF machine to get set up again. I thought it did turn out quite sharp.

thanks for the purchase
