bowie style with birdseye maple handle

the blade is 5 7/8" long edge hardened with an oal length of 10 1/2" made from 1075 steel. the handle is birdseye maple that i stabilized myself. i am asking $160. for this one. sorry, it doesnt come with a sheath but ken collucci makes some nice ones. i have other knives at my website, (link in my signature line).

Handles look a little like the one you gave to Andrew, am I wrong? Good looking, I bet it is sharp too!

for some reason the piece of birdseye on this knife is darker than the one used on andrew's knife.

i forgot to mention the length of the wood on this handle which is 3 3/4" and the handle is 3/4" wide. my friend that i get the wood from told me the reason why the maple turned dark was that the tree was dead when cut which made it turn dark.

i'm doing a makeover on the handle so i'm putting this one on hold until i get it done. i didnt like the looks of the dark wood. i also cut the integral guard deeper making the handle a little longer.
