A little whimsy done with a farrier's rasp and the brass ball from a work horse hame. The sheath can be worn inside your belt or slipped into the belt loop.

Forged from a farriers rasp
Hollow grind
Brass and cocobolo handle
Overall length: 13 1/2 inches
Blade: 7 1/2 inches

Must be somephin in the water down there. I'm seeing an awful lot of incredible knives from the Carolinas. This is really original and nice. I'd love to see a hoof pick with hame! Now that would be useful!!
 
A unique and well done piece. I usually don't care much for the "rasp look" but I like this one.
Gerry you are hitting your stride and making some great knives.
