Bowie with Stabilized Curly Maple

Here is a Bowie forged from 1095. The blade is 6 3/4" with forge marks left on the flats. Hand sanded to 400 grit. Flat ground with a convex edge. Heat treated 57-58 RC. I use a digitally controlled oven and quench in Parks 50. It is 1/4" thick just in front of the handle. Handle is 4 3/4" with stabilized curly maple, 2 stainless corby bolts and a stainless tube. Comes with leather sheath pictured.
