Wow, that is a sweet recurve Bowie!
If anyone likes this knife, don't hesitate. I have a recurve fighter and an Instigator 2 folder by David, and he does excellent, solid work that looks great and holds up to hard use.
Someone's gonna have a great knife!

It looks PERFECT for camping. I have an Entrek Companion, but I'm just not a fan of the 1/4" bead-blast 440C. I've been eyeing this one as well:

Oh for cryin' out loud! $200 for that awesome camp/bowie knife? C'mon people! This is a steal! David is the most under rated (and paid) knifemakers around these parts. Snatch this thing up before I get mad. :)

I e-mailed David a couple times this morning.

I'm torn between this and a Dozier Pro-Guides knife. I LOVE the grind, but I'm afraid it might be a little large. Also not sure if the sheath is left-hand-friendly.

Also hard to get super excited about 440C. Especially versus D2. If this were in S30V I'd have bought it already.

And finally, my wife says it looks "too pointy".

I like it though. Just don't "need" another camping knife. Unless of course this is the ULTIMATE camping knife... if so, then I can quit looking...

:D
