The overall length is 7 3/4", the blade is 3 3/8" from tip to scales x 7/8" high and is hollow ground from .10 inch thick 1095 high carbon steel. This one is ground to .010 of an inch (very thin) behind the secondary bevel. The handle is stabilized box elder with a 1/8" mosaic pin through the hidden tang construction and a silicon bronze guard. It comes with a left hand leather sheath made by me, can make a righthand if you prefer. SOLD . Thanks for looking, Alan.

Very nice looking knife Alan. If you don't mind my asking how was the silicon bronze (I don't know anything about silicon bronze) guard formed? Cast or bar stock that you applied the finished texture to? Thanks. Mike

Mike, it was rough bar stock that I purchased from AKS, the bar stock looked like it was cast and not rolled because the edges were very rounded,it worked much like brass but was a little more gummy like nickel. I did a hammer finish on it before I soldered it into place.

Thanks Alan. I appreciate the information. I think the guard goes very nicely with the knife (and I really appreciate it when they are soldered in place). The hammer finish is a nice touch also. Mike
