This beach is only a 10 minute drive from my house yet I often get so carried away hiking other places that I forget how nice it is, anyway Mrs Pit suggested we go today.

The tiny terror is on the pic with Mrs Pit - to the left! She wouldn't stay still long enough for us to take anymore!

That last shot reminds me of the Dungeness Spit, across the Sound from you.

The picture is kind of dark on my computer. I see her now.

Just to prove the Tiny Terror was there I found another pic of her as she mugged Maisy for a stick that Maisy had swam out to fetch !

Somebody built? I recognize those sticks. Now I know what Maisy was collecting them for.
 
Beautiful shots Pit, I love to see the wooded sea shores of your area.

Ya know....winter time beach walks leave a little something to be desired ;)

Hey pit. Describe the winter months up there for us.
i was at Buchardt gardens one time in Dec and was amazed how mild it was.55 or 60 degrees maybe ?
One old guy actually said there are areas where they grow a few bananas. That freaked me out.
